Before any relocation begins, there needs to be clarity. Not complicated language. Just understanding. These Terms and Conditions explain how Greatway Cargo and Movers operates as a moving company and what both sides should expect during a relocation service.

By booking our services or confirming a quote, you agree to the points explained here. These terms apply to local shifting, domestic relocation, cargo transport, and other moving services offered by us.

Service Confirmation

A move is considered confirmed only after:

  • service details are discussed clearly
  • moving date is mutually agreed
  • estimated charges are accepted
  • contact and address details are shared correctly

Until confirmation is received, availability of vehicle, manpower, or packing slot cannot be guaranteed.

Customer Responsibilities

Relocation works best when information is accurate. Customers are expected to provide correct details about:

  • pickup and delivery addresses
  • volume of goods
  • fragile or high-value items
  • lift or access restrictions
  • preferred shifting timeline

If key information is missing or incorrect, delays or cost changes may occur.

We also recommend that customers personally carry cash, jewellery, documents, and small valuables.

Scope of Services

Greatway provides services as agreed at the time of booking. This usually includes:

  • packing
  • loading
  • transportation
  • unloading

Unpacking, rearrangement, storage, insurance, or additional manpower are provided only if discussed beforehand.

Assumptions can lead to confusion, so we encourage customers to confirm service inclusions clearly.

Payment Terms

Relocation requires advance planning and resource allocation. Because of this, payments are structured in stages.

Payment may include:

  • advance at the time of booking
  • balance before or at the time of delivery

Delay in payment may result in temporary hold of delivery or service suspension until settlement.

Handling and Care

Our team works as trained moving professionals, including packers, furniture movers, delivery drivers, logistics coordinators. We take reasonable care while handling goods.

However, we are not responsible for:

  • internal defects in items
  • items packed by the customer
  • natural events such as heavy rain or accidents
  • damages due to incorrect item declaration

Insurance can be discussed separately for additional coverage.

Delays and External Factors

While we aim for timely service, certain factors cannot be controlled fully. These may include:

  • traffic congestion
  • road restrictions
  • weather conditions
  • administrative checks

We inform customers and try to manage the situation practically.

Cancellation

If a booking needs to be cancelled or postponed, early information helps. Last-minute cancellations may involve partial charges depending on preparation already done.

Date changes are handled based on availability.

Limitation of Liability

Greatway Cargo and Movers shall not be responsible for indirect losses such as business interruption or emotional inconvenience resulting from relocation delays beyond control.

Our liability is limited to the scope defined in the confirmed service discussion.

Clash Resolvation

In case of disagreement, both parties are encouraged to resolve matters through direct discussion. If required, jurisdiction will be governed by applicable Indian laws.

Acceptance of Terms

These terms are not written to create difficulty. They exist to maintain transparency. Relocation is a coordinated effort between customer and service provider.
